SAT Mobile ("we", "our", or "the app") is a church membership management application developed by Benighter. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Email address and password (encrypted) when you create an account.
• Profile Information: First name, last name, phone number, and church affiliation that you provide during registration.
• Church Member Data: Names, phone numbers, gender, ministry assignments, and attendance records of church members entered by authorized users (church leaders and administrators).
• Chat Messages: Text messages and image attachments exchanged between users in the in-app messaging feature.
• Photos: Profile pictures and images uploaded through chat or other features. Images are stored in Firebase Storage.
• Usage Data: Attendance records, meeting logs, prayer tracking records, and outreach data entered by users.
• Device Tokens: Push notification tokens for sending you relevant notifications about your church activities.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the church management features of the app
• Authenticate your identity and secure your account
• Enable communication between church members and leaders via in-app chat
• Send push notifications about church activities (attendance reminders, meeting updates)
• Generate attendance analytics and reports for church leadership
• Facilitate member organization into congregation groups (Bacentas)

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase services:

• Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
• Authentication: Firebase Authentication secures user accounts with industry-standard practices.
• Database Security: Firestore security rules restrict data access to authorized users within their church organization.
• App Security: Optional PIN and biometric lock features protect app access on your device.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your data may be accessible to:

• Church Administrators: Leaders and admins within your church organization can view member data they are authorized to access.
• Firebase/Google: As our infrastructure provider, Google processes data in accordance with their Firebase Privacy and Security documentation.

We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View your personal data through the app's Profile Settings.
• Update: Edit your profile information at any time within the app.
• Delete: Request deletion of your account and associated data. See our Account Deletion page for details.
• Data Portability: Contact us to request a copy of your personal data.

7. Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated personal data at any time through the app (Profile Settings → Delete Account) or by contacting us via email. Upon deletion, your personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. See our Account & Data Deletion page for full details.

8. Children's Privacy

SAT Mobile is designed for use by church leaders and administrators who are 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us to have it removed.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
